Hello, my readers! It has been a while since my last post in January 2022, but recently a lot of things have been happening in my life (and I’m grateful for all the good things), and now I finally can write again every week, sharing beauty content (one of my passions). So…let’s start!
As a beauty lover, I love to discover new products no matter the price, with only one requirement: they must be cruelty-free. Keeping that in mind, I must confess that this post is full of low-cost beauty products that work heavenly!
REVUELE.
If you have been reading my post you will know that months ago, I had the opportunity to test a lot of products of this brand that is the young sister of Revox, and I ended up loving some products, making me want to continue testing them. The latest products that I have been trying are the Retinol Forte Night Cream, and the Hydro-jelly Watermelon face moisturizer.
- The Retinol Forte Night Cream, is a moisturizer with an interesting list of active ingredients like Retinyl Palmitate, Shea Butter, Provitamin B5, Hyaluronic acid, Pea extract, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C. The main objective of this moisturizer is to brighten the skin, fade dark spots, treat, and prevent fine wrinkles, and nourish the skin. Having used it for a couple of weeks, even if is too early to have a conclusion, my first impression is great. It moisturizes the skin, and the formula is not heavy, but to see if it really works, I will need to continue using it a little longer.
- The Hydro-jelly Watermelon, face moisturizer is a moisturizer based in two main ingredients: watermelon and hyaluronic acid. I was curious to try it since it remembers me to another high-end brand with a similar concept called The Glow Recipe, plus the fact that it has a cream-gel texture. I just fell in love with this product. It doesn’t make miracles, but it moisturizes the skin really well, and smells delicious. By the way, it has a really nice creamy-gel texture, which makes the product fast absorbing. The best part? 100ml size!
ORJENA.
I remember discovering this Korean brand a while ago, and deeply falling in love with it, and now I still think the same. The products I have been using from Orjena are the Tea Tree Cica cleansing foam, and the Banana cleansing foam.
- The Tea Tree Cica cleansing foam, has turned into one of my favorite Korean face cleansers since The Saem ones. Even if the entire social media influencers have been talking about how amazing Cica is, as always, I was curious but skeptical, but now, I have no words. The product itself is rich, soothing, and moisturizing. It deeply cleans the skin, without drying it, but the most interesting fact is that I could feel like somehow it helped me to treat my problematics zones, non-causing any irritation.
- The Banana cleansing foam, is completely different. Even if is not a bad face cleanser, it dries out my skin, so I need to use it obligatorily only as a second step in my routine. On the other side, when it comes to the smell, it really smells like bananas, without being annoying.
LIYAL’AN.
When I say that I love to discover cruelty-free beauty brands from around the world, I’m serious. This skincare brand is from China, and their products are made from natural ingredients, making me want to give all of them a try to see how they work. So I ended up gaving their face cleanser an opportunity, and it really surprised me a lot.
Liyal’an Turmeric gel face cleanser is a soft face cleanser with main ingredients like turmeric, aloe vera, tea tree oil, and chamomile. My personal experience with the product is really good, it softly cleans the skin without drying it, but the most curious thing was that it has no soap, and it leaves the skin really soft and conditioned.
AQC FRAGRANCES.
As a sweet-floral fragrance lover, I love to perfume myself,
but there are some days that I don’t want to use perfumes or any Eau the
cologne, so I fill my body skin with body mist!
This time, I discovered a Spanish brand that make me
want to buy the entire line. The fragrance lasts all day, being soft and a
little bit intense at the same time, without becoming an Eau the cologne.
Fun fact? Developed in the EU but made in China.
