NACOMI TO THE TEST: NACOMI COSMETICS REVIEW.

The Swedish skincare brand, has definitely come to democratize (even more) the european skincare industry, through its formulas and ingredients. After having tested for months some of their products, I can confirm that they absolutely worth the hype. Cute and simple packaging, from basic skincare ingredients, like hyaluronic acid, or ceramides, Nacomi creates products focused on offering effectives formulas, with attractives textures, that makes the skincare routine more pleasant.

CLAY FACE MASKS.

Comes in powder, which means that they need to be activated by water, face oil, or the  face mask activator by the same brand. I personally prefer to use water or face toner, to observe how they really work, and the level of effectiveness.

• Black clay mask.

It detoxify the skin, absorbing all the skin impurities, leaving a feeling of freshness.

• Green clay mask.

Indicated to treat skin with imperfections, it purifies, balance, calms, and illuminates the skin.

• Algae mask.

Indicated for skins with acne, is a peel-off mask formulated with marine algae and tea tree oil, ended being too aggressive for my skin type (sensitive combination to oily), making my entire skin itch and burn.

FACE SERUMS.

Basic key ingredients, effective formula, with a delightful texture that easily absorbs into the skin. However, the salicylic acid, and the vitamin C face serum, felt incomplete to me, being my favorites ones the hyaluronic acid face serum, and the vitamin E face serum.

• Vitamin E face serum.

My first time using a face oil serum, and the first thing I learned was to moderate the amount of product to avoid waste. Easily absorbed by the skin, after a week of use, improves skin texture and appearance, having a better performance in combination with the hyaluronic acid face serum.

• Hyaluronic acid face serum.

It has become one of my favorites low-cost hyaluronic acid face serum, for the texture and effectiveness. It deeply moisturize and softens the skin, leaving a dewy and healthy skin use by use, especially in combination with the vitamin E face serum.

• Ceramides face serum.

Honestly, I was expecting more from a ceramides face serum, a light, but more enveloping and emollient formula, instead of a slightly moisturizing one.

• Salicylic acid face serum.

Difficult to use, difficult to understand, and difficult to love, the 3 D’s. Even if it is a non-irritating formula, its color (black) and texture difficult its use, even if it slightly contribute to balance the skin, I personally found it uncomfortable to use, since it leaves black streaks on the skin.

Nowadays, if I have to recommend any low-cost effective salicylic acid face serum, is the one by The Conscious. 

• Vitamin C face serum.

Nice texture, with a non-effective formula. Being formulated in the beginning with a 15% of vitamin C, broken down in 10% ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbyl phosphate 3%, ascorbyl glucoside 2%, it supposed to be a non-irritating, and effective formula, that helps to even the skin tone, by clearing dark spots. But, after a few weeks of use, it ended up being just a conditioning and moisturizer serum.

A better low-cost option, is the JUST 20% Vitamin C face serum by Revox, formulated with ascorbic acid, and green tea, that even the skin tone, by reducing skin imperfections, targeting inflammation, and improving the skin texture.

 

FACE MOISTURIZERS.

Perfect formula, good ingredients, and nice texture, definitely moisturizers are the strongest point of Nacomi. No favorites in this category, since both are incredibly good.

• Protein Patch face cream for atopic skin.

Very light, and emollient formula, it calms, moisturize, and softens the skin.

• Shea butter face moisturizer +50.

I used it as the last step in my night skincare routine. Still lightweight, but with a more rich formula, being one of its main ingredients shea butter, skincare ingredient known for its highly restorative properties.

FIRST SKINCARE REVIEW OF THE YEAR: WELCOME 2024!

Last year was really amazing, so many Good things happened, being one of them, the opportunity to try a few interesting skincare and makeup products, so Let’s start!

FACE.

BEAUSTA Cica recipe face foam cleanser, & GARNIER ACTIVE micellar water for sensitive eyes and skin.

Having sensitive combination to oily skin type, every step matters to avoid any side effects. This is why Cica and Cornflower water, are two perfect main ingredients to calm, and refresh my skin. Used to use richer formulas, like the ones by The Saem, this one, feels incomplete, even if technically have some nice ingredients, and a soft formula.

On the other side, the micellar water for sensitive eyes and skin, to me is one of the best ones from Garnier. It easily remove all the impurities and makeup, even the waterproof ones, without dehydrating my skin, or causing any side effects.

FRUDIA enzymatic peeling gel, & HOLIKA-HOLIKA Soda Pore Cleansing.

Even if one of my favorites face scrub are from a western brand, the korean ones, are complete different, with a more advanced formulas, that are even suitable for sensitive skin, braking once againg with the topic that face scrubs can't be used on sensitive skin. The enzymatic peeling gel by Frudia, removes softly in one step all the dead skin cells, with the drawback of not being able to be used twice at the same moment, therefore everything need to be done in one step, thoroughly massaging the entire face.

By the way, the one by Holika-Holika, really surprised me for its main ingredient (baking soda), and the product formula. It gentle removes all the impurities, being able to be used again at the same time, in high contrast with the one by Frudia. The texture feels like microbubbles penetrating deep into the pores, removing all the dirtiness, leaving the skin soft and velvety.

 

TONY MOLY  Wonder Tea Tree Pore Fresh Toner.

Since the green panda face moisturizer, indicated for combination to oily skin (one of my all time favorite moisturizers), this face toner is the second product I try from this brand. 

Formulated with ingredients that are specially indicated for combination to oily skin, like Tea tree and green tea, that contributes to even the skin tone, sebum regulation, helping at the same time to reduce pimples, making it suitable for people with acne prone skin.

The main purpose of this face toner is to refresh, balance, and purify the skin, penetrating deep into the pores, leaving the skin prepared for the next step. However, to me, is not one of the best face toners in the market, but a really good one, to keep as a vanity backgroung, since it really helps to regulate progressively the sebum production, softening the skin texture the same time.

 

EYES.

VITAMIN TREE & ORJENA eye moisturizers.

After having watched so many skincare videos, and read a few blog post about how important can be to use an specific moisturizer to the skin of the eye area, for being a more sensitive zone, that needs a more lightweight, and fast absorbing moisturizer, that helps to to prevent, and treat fine lines and wrinkles, I ended up trying this two ones, to start including them in my routine. 

Both of them are from Korean skincare brands, being Orjena one of my favorites low cost Korean beauty brands, for their face serums, sheet mask, and enzymatic peeling gel.

The one from The Vitamin Tree, whose main ingredient is Niacinamide, was definitely a game changer: it decongest, moisturize, softens, and refresh the skin of the eye area, leaving a slight sensation of freshness. On the other side, the Orjena eye cream, which have more main ingredients like hydrolyzed collagen, niacinamide, and marine algae, it felt more like a basic lightweight moisturizer.

MASCARILLA FACIAL NEGRA, QUE NO ME IRRITA LA PIEL: NACOMI.

Desde que se volviesen en su momento, virales las mascarillas de carbón activado para purificar y tratar imperfecciones la piel, tales como granos ocasionales, acné, o exceso de producción de sebo, no han parado de salir nuevos productos al mercado, con nuevos ingredientes y nuevas fórmulas, siendo unas más efectivas que otras, unas más innovadoras que otras, etc. Desde las mascarillas con ingredientes más naturales y fórmulas más respetuosas con la piel, hasta mascarillas con ingredientes más sintéticos, y fórmulas más agresivas con la piel. 

Nacomi, es una marca que hace tiempo había querido probar, ya que al tratarse de cosmética polaca, y tras haber tenido muy buenas experiencias con marcas como Ziaja, Oriflame, y Farmona, así como después de haber visto los ingredientes de muchos de sus productos, realmente tenía la necesidad de probarlos, decidiendo comenzar por la mascarilla facial de arcilla  negra de Bentonita.

Lo que más me llamó la atención a primera vista fue, la buena calidad del envase en el que viene el producto, y en segundo lugar la textura de la mascarilla (polvo muy fino), que hace que sea más fácil su mezcla.

En las instrucciones, se indica que se puede utilizar agua o aceite como agente activador, sin embargo, yo personalmente, para este tipo de mascarilla prefiero utilizar tónico facial NO astringente y/o exfoliante. En mi caso, hice uso de los tónicos de Byphasse de Aloe Vera y Rosa Damascena, y como siempre, ir mezclando progresivamente, hasta obtener una mezcla homogénea y densa, que no gotee. 

INTERESANTE: ¿Qué es la Bentonita?

Arcilla de origen natural, con un alto nivel de minerales, con propiedades absorbentes, llegando a ser considerada como arcilla terapéutica por su gran capacidad de absorción de toxinas y venenos, mediante la aplicación tópica en la zona afectada.

MI EXPERIENCIA USANDO LA MASCARILLA DE NACOMI DE ARCILLA NEGRA.

Es la primera mascarilla de arcilla negra, que no me irrita la piel a corto, medio, o largo plazo.  Han habido épocas en las que he llegado ha utilizarla muy frecuentemente, y épocas en las que la he usado tan solo una o dos veces a la semana, y nunca me ha causado ningún tipo de alteración en la piel. SIN EMBARGO, hay que tener presente que es una mascarilla exfoliante, es decir, una vez se aplica, y se deja secar, al remover el producto de la piel, su aclarado produce una acción exfoliante sobre la piel, lo que en mi opinión, permite darle el toque final a la piel, dejándola completamente limpia, y libre de impurezas.

Personalmente no diría que elimina las manchas, pero si ayuda a mejorar el tono, y la apariencia de la piel, así como a equilibrar la misma. En mi caso tengo una zona T grasa, y he podido notar como me ayuda a equilibrar la producción de sebo, así mismo, he podido comprobar como tras su uso continuo, ayuda a eliminar puntos negros eficazmente.

LOS GELES DE DUCHA MÁS ECONÓMICOS DEL MERCADO PARA PIELES SENSIBLES: DICORA URBAN FIT.

Tras haber escuchado diversas reseñas sobre la marca Dicora Urban Fit, de bloggers y bloggers como Arroin80 y Let’s Talk About by Lau, decidí darle una oportunidad por la puerta grande, y comprar todos los geles de ducha a la vez, con la finalidad de poder ir probándolos, viendo como mi piel sensible reacciona, a la vez que también fraguaba en mi cabeza una opinión sólida al respecto.

Lo primero en llamarme la atención de estos geles de ducha fue su concepto, y lista de ingredientes: lo que ves, es lo que hay, nada más. La marca Urban Fit, realmente se toma en serio los ingredientes principales de cada uno de sus productos, así como su formulación, y eso es algo fácilmente apreciable, a la primera toma de contacto con los mismos. De otra parte, la mayoría de estos geles de ducha están compuestos por un 93% de ingredientes de origen natural, algo difícil de encontrar en geles de ducha con un precio por debajo de los 2E por unidad. 

• Yogur y Pistacho, Almendras y Nueces, y Proteína de Yogourt & Copos de Avena: son los más cremosos y densos de los cinco, con una textura rica, y un olor fiel a sus ingredientes principales, sobre todo el que Yogourt & Pistacho.

Aunque todos me gustaron bastante, mi favorito es el que Proteína de Yogourt & Copos de Avena, siendo el más denso, calmante, emoliente, y cremoso de todos, y actualmente, el mejor gel de ducha con Copos de Avena que he probado en la actualidad, superando con creces a marcas de toda la vida como Avena Kinesia, o Instituto Español.

• Matcha Tea & Pear, y Leche & Melón: aunque menos cremosos que los anteriores, continúan teniendo una textura bastante rica, que limpian la piel sin alterarla. El que más me sorprendió y gustó, fue el de Leche & Melón, rico en vitamina A (Retinyl Palmitate) y ácido láctico, que ayudan a exfoliar la piel y unificar el tono de la misma de forma progresiva, siendo un complemento perfecto para un tratamiento anti-manchas o rejuvenecedor de la piel, convirtiéndose actualmente uno de mis geles de ducha nocturnos favoritos.

De otra parte, posee un aroma envolvente a melón, que no tiene nada que envidiar a otras marcas con un precio más alto.

Teniendo en cuenta toda ésta información, y en base a mi experiencia personal: mis dos geles de ducha favoritos de Dicora Urban Fit son: Proteína de Yogourt & Copos de Avena, así como el de Leche y Melón. Además en conjunto son el complemento perfecto para una limpieza corporal de día y noche.
