A LITTLE BIT OF MAKEUP I HAVE BEEN USING: REVIEW.

Everybody around me talking about Catrice, but I’m falling in love again with Essence, and discovering some Revolution Beauty hidden gems!

ESSENCE.

This low-cost makeup brand have been creating some interesting products that worth the hype, and one of them is their “Camouflage+” matt concealer, which claims to be waterproof, and high coverage. Having using it for almost two months and I can tell why is so famous: is matt, lightweight, medium coverage, does not mark expression lines, and for the price it have a pretty decent performance through the day… But is not waterproof!!! and is not the best affordable option to cover any tattoo, because it does not have as much coverage, and the use of excess product makes the skin look rough (being the reason why I only recommend a maximum 2 well-blended layers for each eye, before sealing the product).

On the other hand, the eye brow pencil, is a must, but the only thing I didn't like is the size, I prefer bigger size ones. Easy to apply, correct color with correct undertone, and long-lasting.

REVOLUTION BEAUTY (MAKEUP REVOLUTION).

Nobody can deny the amazing changes that Makeup Revolution have been doing since a few years ago, improving the quality of their products, creating new lines, etc. So I decided to try another makeup foundation from them, “The Super Matte” that claims to be 2 in 1: foundation + concealer. 

Shortly, this makeup foundation has ended being one of my favorites low-cost makeup foundations: is healthy matt, stays all  day on the skin, controls sebum production, and it blends very well, without leaving a mask effect. The only thing I don’t like about this product? Is not transfer-proof.

AVON.

It still amazes me that even though it is such a famous brand, almost no one talks about it, so I think I will continue with their concealer stick. Easy to carry, easy to use, creamy, medium coverage (not buildable), perfect to make fast retouches, but not made to be an all-terrain concealer, or a decent one that can last at least 6 to 7 hours without any retouch.

In love with this lipstick!

Today I decided to recover something I love to do: makeup looks! Since I really enjoy testing new products, doing my makeup every day, and above all… letting my imagination fly creating new things. At the same time is an opportunity to write about the products I used, giving my opinion about them.

Keeping in mind that I’m recently enjoying and loving some Avon products, particularly their lipstick, I want to create some looks with them. Avon's lipstick has a very long-lasting beautiful formula, with a wide color range, that gives makeup lovers so many options to play with: from the most classic red or an everyday soft nude, to the deepest shades.

About their cruelty-free status, as a cruelty-free beauty blogger, I did my job, and I have been reading information about the company's animal testing status, contacting them at the same time via email, concluding that Avon is a cruelty-free company, that support and contributes to the elimination of animal testing, promoting alternative methods to animal testing.

The products to highlight in today’s look are:

• Full Cover Camouflage Concealer, by REVOLUTION PRO.

One of my favorite concealers on the market is the full cover, and long-lasting. It has nothing to do with the makeup foundation of the same line, which becomes very heavy and pasty, on the contrary, is a good concealer, especially for the eyebrow and eyelid area, being at the same time a good eyeshadow primer. Well applied, and sealed, it does not move easily.

• Mattifying Makeup Primer, by FLORMAR; Matter Base Pore Blurring, full coverage foundation, by MAKEUP REVOLUTION.

Flormar is one of my favorite brands when it comes to nail polishes, but makeup? YES! They have makeup products too, and their mattifying Makeup Primer creates a smooth base that helps to create a flawless makeup application. By the way, the Pore Blurring makeup foundation is one of my favorite low-cost makeup products: skin-like finish, buildable coverage, and long-lasting.

• Banana Dreams Lose Powder, by W7.

A fine makeup powder that seals the under-eye area, without stiffening, and illuminates the face, controlling at the same time the excess sebum production.

• Mark lipsticks, Extreme Mauve, by AVON.

This lipstick line is gorgeous, and the color range: is breathless. The lipstick stays all day, being easy to use.

MY FAVORITES MAKEUP FOUNDATIONS 2021 FOR COMBINATION TO OILY SKIN.

Having sensitive combination to oily skin can be really a headache since not all my face areas are oily, in my case I have an oily T zone in combination with normal skin in the rest of my face. By the way, I have some blemished areas (that are in treatment), so I need a foundation that can give me a long lasting, healthy matte, medium or medium to full coverage, skin like finish.

My current favorites foundation of this 2021 are by Makeup Revolution, NYX cosmetics, and Base of Sweden. I really love all of them, and to me they are absolutely a must have, from the most affordable to the most expensive.

LIFESTYLE FOUNDATION MADE TO PERFORM, by Base of Sweden.

Since my days with MAC pro long wear foundation, I never ever tried a makeup foundation that is waterproof, non-cakey, with a nice buildable coverage, non-comedogenic, vegan, with an almost skin like finnish. I can even say, that is better than the MAC one.

It has a light sticky texture, that perfectly glue to the skin, and one is dried is immovable and stay perfect all day long, being one of the strongest all terrain makeup foundation, being to me one of the best options to choose for a very long day of work.

CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP, by NYX.

I really love it, being to me the closest makeup foundation to the MAC pro long wear one (one of my beloved), and less expensive. But, even if I love everything about it, in my case I prefer to mix it with another makeup foundation, since the texture is very liquid.

It stays all day long but is not waterproof at all like the first one, but water resistant. By the way, is cruelty free, long lasting, with a buildable coverage from medium to full, and is not cakey.

MATTE BASE PORE BLURRING FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION, by Makeup Revolution.

This ended being a truly discover! I never expected that Makeup Revolution will ever create such a nice product. From the formula to the texture this product is a keeper. It has a nice skin-like medium to full coverage, that leaves a flawless finish. Is not the most long-lasting makeup foundation I ever tried (obviously), but it stays perfect for hours, and with the correct setting powder and makeup primer, it can last perfect for eight to nine hours.

Is not waterproof or water resistant but is really a good option if your necessities aren’t too high. I personally use it alone or mixed with other makeup foundations for a better texture, being one of the most versatile makeup product I own.

Otherwise, in general, another thing that I love from this makeup foundations are the fact that they are non-comedogenic (don’t clog pores), so I don’t need to worry about breakouts caused by my makeup foundation (RIP Glamzilla, I love you).

REMEMBER: a makeup foundation will always work better on a well-groomed skin, than on a skin that has never seen a serum. So, skincare first, for a flawless makeup application and a more long-lasting finish.

Running late! Easy glam and long lasting every-day makeup (you only need 15 min!!!).

A few weeks ago, some people after their summer vacations, had to go back to their jobs or classes, going back to the reality: eating fast, waking up every day early in the morning, run to catch the train or bus, and reconnect with your friends or workmates/classmates.

Once again, we are back to top, with barely time to do anything, plus the fact we have spent enough money on vacation to puncture our credit/debit card in an atrocious way! Therefore, I just need 15 MINUTES, to show you and affordable and long lasting full glam makeup to go back to your work or classes like a Goddess or God!

FAST, EASY, LONG LASTING, AND AFFORDABLE…LET`S START! (15min)

•        Makeup primer, Makeup foundation, & Makeup concealer.

Mix your makeup primer with your makeup foundation to make it last longer, then just correct your more problematic zones with your favorite concealer.

•        Brows.

I’m loving (actually) the one by Makeup Revolution, and since we are running late…use your contour powder to set your brows.

•        Setting powder.

To me, one of the best affordable options in the market without white cast, and universal. Your T zone will be under control for hours! REMEMBER: not for baking, just to set your makeup.

•       Contour palette & Eyelashes mascara.

Magic here! You need a complete contour palette in your life to life faster and better, why? You can use it for your cheeks, your brows, and your eyes… you see what I mean? Then, apply your favorite eye mascara, but my favorites are: Lash Extension mascara by Lovely Cosmetics (even if know I’m using another one).

•        Lipstick.

Use your favorite one! The most affordable options in the market to me are the ones by Jordana Cosmetics, and Technics Cosmetics.

PRODUCTS THAT I DIDN’T LIKE: VOL1.

The time has come, the worse products list is here, and I have three products that just didn’t work for me: eye mascara, instant conditioner, and a banana face powder.

Ø  BYE-BYE SHORT LASHES, BY LOVELY COSMETICS.

Far away from the pink one by the same brand called Lash Extension Mascara, this one does not separate and lengthen eyelashes, and that is a basic to me when it comes about any eye mascara.

Ø  BOTANIQ DEEP SEA INSTANT HAIR CONDITIONER, BY KALLOS COSMETICS.

It gives me dandruff! Is the first instant hair conditioner that I try that give me dandruff, but the most interesting thing is the fact that it leaves the hair a little bit greasy.

Ø  BAKE & BLOT BANANA DEEP POWDER, BY MAKEUP REVOLUTION.

Is the worse face powder I ever use in my entire life! Is powdery in a bad way, and it does not sett the makeup, it feels like dust on the face, making it creepy. By the way, it clogs and enlarges pores….is no way that this face powder will work for nobody.
